Wildfowl count
An annual series of counts of wildfowl organised by the Wildfowl Trust and covering major waters right across Britain. Observers count their local wildfowl on pre-arranged days once per month between September and March, when huge numbers of these birds from north and north-east Europe are present in the British Isles.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
