White Wagtail
The subspecies of the Pied Wagtail Motacilla alba breeding on the European continent. It has the scientific name M.a. alba, the British breeding race being M.a. yarrellii. The White Wagtail is a passage migrant through the British Isles.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
