Rare Breeding Birds Panel

A five-member committee established in 1968 to document and report on the breeding of the 60 or so species defined as 'rare breeding birds' in the United Kingdom. It is financed jointly by the British Trust For Ornithology, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the journal British Birds, in whose pages the panel's annual report appears.
