Greenland Falcon
The subspecies of the Gyrfalcon Falco rusticolus breeding in Greenland. It has the scientific name F.r. candicans, and it is an irregular visitor to the British Isles in winter and spring. The race which breeds in Iceland, with the scientific name F.r. islandus (the 'Iceland Falcon' is a rare vagrant to the British Isles.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
