Broad-leaved
Having blade-like rather than needle-like leaves, the converse of coniferous. It is not synonymous with deciduous, as some broad-leaved trees are evergreen (and some conifers are deciduous). Broad-leaved woodland of the 'deciduous summer forest' type forms the natural vegetation of most parts of the British Isles.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
