Reeve's Pheasant

Syrmaticus pictus

Transitory attempts at introduction — the latest on Speyside in about 1970 — have been made. During the first Atlas they were recorded near Woburn (Bedfordshire), in Breckland and on Speyside. Now it is likely that the occasional records of single birds in Britain all refer to recent escapes.
