Pink-Footed Goose

Anser brachyrhynchus

UK Conservation

Many summer records in Scotland (and England) are of 'pricked' birds — injured by wildfowlers — and 69 adults and 7 juveniles counted in summer 1991. The only breeding pair found was in Lancashire. Mixed pairs, often with Greylags, are sometimes reported.
