Feeding Stations

Points at which foods for birds are deliberately supplied by people. They range from places where kitchen scraps are thrown out by a housewife, through collections of devices for feeding birds operated by enthusiasts, to sophisticated electronic or photographic set-ups used by scientists carrying out research into bird behaviour. Thanks to the development of window feeders, even people without gardens can establish feeding stations. See also siting of feeding stations.
