Roger Tidman

Roger Tidman is one of the UK's leading wildlife photographers.

Born in Cambridgeshire, UK, he graduated from Aston University as an optometrist. A career change came almost 20 years ago, in 1979, when he moved to Norfolk, UK, and became a wildlife photographer.

His work regularly appears in wildlife books and magazines, and on postcards and greetings cards. He recently won the prestigious British Birds Photograph of the Year competition, sponsored by Canon.

Roger travels very widely in order to increases his species range, and usually manages several trips abroad each year. Previous assignments include Antarctica, China, Costa Rica, India, Kenya, North America, Siberia, South Africa and almost every country in Europe.
