Yellow-Legged Gull

Larus cachinnans

SmileSmile

This newly separated species first appeared breeding as part of a hybrid pair, with Lesser Black-backed Gull, in 1992. In 1995 a pair bred successfully in Dorset and there were two pairs there in 1997. Definitely a coming species!
