Ruddy Shelduck

Tadorna ferruginea

These birds are fairly often seen in England and sometimes in Scotland. Recently breeding by one pair has been reported from Norfolk and one paired (successfully) with an Egyptian Goose (female) at Rutland Water in 1996 after five years unproductive life together.
