Woodcrete

A modern material for making feeders, nest boxes and other equipment, produced by the German manufacturer Schwegler GmbH. A mixture of sawdust, clay and concrete, woodcrete is durable, does not warp or rot, and needs no maintenance. It also has excellent thermal properties, a great advantage for the construction of nest boxes, as they stay cool in summer and provide cosy roosts in winter. Among woodcrete products are one of the best ground feeders, a Wildlife Bath for a range of animals, and a wide selection of nest boxes for birds, mammals and even insects. All these products are obtainable from Jacobi Jayne & Company.
