Water Pipit
The subspecies of the Rock Pipit Anthus spinoletta breeding in the mountains of southern Europe. It has the scientific name A.s. spinoletta, the British breeding race being A.s. petrosus. The Water Pipit is a very uncommon visitor to the British Isles.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
