Superspecies
A group of species which are so closely related that they could almost be regarded as belonging to a single species. For example, the Grey Heron Ardea cinerea could be said to form a superspecies with the Great Blue Heron A. herodias of North America.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
