Society for the Promotion of Nature Conservation

An organisation founded in 1912 (as the 'Society for the Promotion of Nature Reserves') which now acts as a representative at national level for the members of the local Naturalists' Trust movement. The SPNC publishes the quarterly bulletin CONSERVATION Review and its headquarters are at Nettleham in Lincolnshire. Its junior section is called 'Watch'.
