Sawbill
A diving duck of the genus Mergus, part of the family Anatidae. Sawbills have serrated cutting edges on their bills, an adaptation for catching and holding fish, their main food. The common sawbills of the British Isles are the Red-breasted Merganser M. serrator and the Goosander M. merganser. From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
