Hornemann's Redpoll
An alternative name for the Arctic Redpoll Carduelis hornemanni. Strictly it refers to the subspecies which breeds in Greenland, which has the scientific name C.h. hornemanni, the subspecies breeding in the Eurasian and North American Arctic being called Coues' Redpoll C.h. exilipes.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
