Green-winged Teal
The subspecies of the Teal Anas crecca breeding in North America. It has the scientific name A.c. carolinensis, the British breeding race being A.c. crecca. The green-winged race is a vagrant to the British Isles.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
