Extralimital

Occurring only outside the boundaries of the area under consideration. For example, the Kittiwake Rissa tridactyla has a relative, the Red-legged Kittiwake R. brevirostris, which breeds only in the north Pacific and, so far as Europe is concerned, would be described as extralimital.
