Euring
The European Union for Bird Ringing, formed in the early 1960s to bring about international co-operation within Europe. The British ringing scheme is a member. The ringing recovery codes used in computer processing of results in most European countries were ratified by Euring and a data bank has been set up to store the recovery details at Arnhem in the Netherlands.
