Drumming

Rapid tapping by the bill of a woodpecker (family Picidae) on a dead branch, or the sound of air passing through the spread tail feathers of a Snipe Gallinago gallinago as it dives during its display flight (also known as 'bleating'). It is an example of instrumental song.
