Black-bellied Dipper
A continental subspecies of the Dipper Cinclus cinclus, examples of which arrive irregularly in eastern Britain in winter. The race concerned, C.c. cinclus, breeds mainly in northern Europe.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
