International Waterfowl Research Bureau

An organisation founded in 1954 to prmote and co-ordinate the study of wetland birds throughout the world. It was formerly called the 'International wildfowl Research Bureau' but is now concerned with all aquatic and riparian birds. Its headquarters are at the Wildfowl Trust at Slimbridge in Gloucestershire.
