Gardening
The practice of tying back the vegetation round a nest and otherwise re-arranging it so that the birds can be more easily photographed. It is important that after the photography has been completed the vegetation is replaced in its original position, in case the gardening has facilitated the attack of a predator.From Peter Weaver's Birdwatcher's Dictionary
