Carnivorous

Eating the flesh of vertebrate animals. Although a raptor or an owl (order Strigiformes) forms the obvious example of a carnivore among birds, others also qualify for this description, for example the piscivorous types, the shrikes (family Laniidae) and the crows (family Corvidae).
